Winning Strategies for Resident Engagement and Clinical Outcomes
Winning Strategies for Resident Engagement and Clinical Outcomes
Recorded on: 08/17/2021
As the Senior living industry is reopening and recovering from the COVID-19 pandemic, leading providers such as Christian Horizons, a 50+ years non-profit senior living leader, are doubling down on their resident experience strategy and investing heavily thanks to lessons learned, extraordinary leadership and longtime culture committed to person-centered care and care partner satisfaction.
This session will showcase how Christian Horizons is leading implementation of an innovative program and strategies to support communities ranging from home care, the small house model to large life plan communities (CCRCs). With a philosophy deeply rooted in Bell and Troxel’s Best Friends Approach to Alzheimer’s and Dementia Care™, the Christian Horizons ministry focuses on delivery of quality health care services, enhanced activities to create a therapeutic environment, with emphasis on relational/relationship and ability centered resident care and striving to create links between resident engagement and measurable clinical outcomes.
Participants who join this webinar will be able to:
- Understand how a non-profit organization developed and is piloting a resident engagement program impacting different community types and levels of care
- Identify interdisciplinary approaches aimed at overcoming current and projected staffing challenges
- Create strategies providing links between resident engagement as a way to positively impact clinical outcomes
